Tales of the Inter City rider is a ride and roll narrative adventure. A story built around a ride that involves dice rolling, taking damage and giving some in return. The ride is ridden as and when you feel like it, not run as an event on a particular day. There will be a booklet and a d12 dice, you bring the pencil. Also included in the ride pack will be a unique patch, a physical connection to an imaginary world. I will email you the route file and once the pack has arrived in the post you are all set to go on this adventure.
The ride is inspired by my love for reading cyberpunk and of those fantasy books you used to get as kids where you would have to make a decision and turn to a particular page to find out the outcome.
If you have never played any dice rolling games before do not worry, this is as simple as it gets. The rules are explained in the booklet. All you have to do is ride the route and follow the instructions.
London will serve as the back drop for Doom City. With a unique blend of old buildings and futuristic architecture, it should be easy to immerse yourself into this new world. You will come up against rebel militias, corporate armies and if you are lucky meet the Neo Druid!
The story…
You are a freelance bike courier in Doom City and high risk deliveries are your rhyme and reason. After years of serving with an advanced recon unit, you have an edge that is sharper than the average courier, and on occasion you are thirsty for that edge to be sharpened. The bulk of your clients are deep into industrial espionage, intelligence gathering for rival factions and lately corporations wanting to sink their teeth into chunks of the social infrastructure. There is chaos spreading in this city and sometimes you think you are helping to spread it…

Future ride / October 2026..
The Essex Witch Trails has been running as an event for four years now. The route changes yearly, but is always based in and around Colchester in east Essex. Riders pass through towns connected to the infamous Witch Trials that afflicted the locals residents in the 17th Century. Provided with a booklet and a route, you will go on a narrative ride that is part a quest with checkpoints and part a ride through history.
Each year there is a different prize at the end. Previous editions had t-shirts, caps and musettes for the finishers.

Welcome to the Outer Loop. The first in a series of rides that will explore the remnants of an invasion that never happened…
The first ride is focused on the protective ring that surrounded London, the last bastion of fortification for the metropolis. The section you will ride is called Outer Loop A. Starting in Walthamstow, you will be heading in a north easterly direction along the canals. From there you will hook back round and head into farmlands. Things will turn more intense as you tackle hedgerows and hills. Farm tracks and deep parts of the forest.
Rode from dusk till dawn, like a nocturnal creature? Like some kind of vampire,,, then you deserve some recognition.
